The 55th BFI London Film Festival
A two-week showcase of the world’s best new films, the BFI London Film Festival is one of the most anticipated events in London's cultural calendar.
Attracting some of cinema's finest actors and filmmakers, stars attending this year's festival include George Clooney, Freida Pinto, Ralph Fiennes, and directors David Cronenberg and Andrea Arnold.
The spectacular programme of events runs from 12 to 27 October in 10 venues across Central London.

Highlights of the BFI London Film Festival 2011
Over 16 days the festival will screen more than 200 fiction and documentary features, including 13 world premieres, 18 international premieres and 22 european premieres. Highlights include:
360, directed by Fernando Meirelles, written by Peter Morgan and starring Sir Anthony Hopkins, Jude Law and Rachel Weisz
We Need to Talk About Kevin, Lynne Ramsay's eagerly-awaited film based on Lionel Shriver's Orange Prize-winning novel, starring Tilda Swinton
A Dangerous Method, from director David Cronenberg, starring Keira Knightley, Viggo Mortensen and Michael Fassbender
The programme also includes a number of panel discussions, on-stage interviews and masterclasses to accompany the screenings.
